About This Item

Sangat React is a gurdwara website, made for gurdwaras and Sikh communities. It rebuilds the Sangat design as a React 18 app with Vite. Every page is a function component, and React Router moves between all 28 pages without a reload.

It looks exactly like the Sangat demo. Underneath, the gurdwara logic runs in React state. That covers whether the gurdwara is open and which prayer comes next and events that always date themselves from today, and the page updates the moment a visitor changes an option.

Two Home Pages As Components

Home 01 – a Harmandir Sahib hero slider over the Sarovar light.
Home 02 – a candle-lit video hero, today’s bar.

Gurdwara Pages In React

Daily Programme – the day from Amrit Vela to Sukhasan with what is on now.
Path Booking – akhand Path, Sehaj Path or Sukhmani Sahib with the start, the Bhog time.
Langar Seva – a sponsorship calculator.
Donation – one-time or monthly gifts, a campaign preview of what your gift adds.
Events – sorted into Upcoming, This Month and Past, with countdowns.
Sermons – katha and kirtan as a list or grid, with filters and an audio player.

Getting Started

First, install Node 18 or newer. Then run npm install and npm run dev to open the site locally. When it is ready, npm run build writes static files that any host can serve.
