Sangat is a gurudwara website template: an animated HTML5 template for gurdwaras and Sikh communities. Khalsa navy, saffron and Tiro Gurmukhi headings give it the calm of the darbar hall. Underneath, it runs real gurdwara logic: whether the gurdwara is open and which prayer comes next, events that always date themselves from today, path bookings with their Bhog time and the hall’s free days, langar costs with karah prashad, a seven-day langar rota, causes with days left, and a gurdwara shop with a bag, coupon and delivery. It ships with light and dark mode, right-to-left support and Sarovar Light – a WebGL shader that plays light across the water.

Two Home Pages

• Home 01: a Harmandir Sahib hero slider over the Sarovar light, the next event with a countdown beside the latest sermon in an audio player, the about block with counters, causes with raised, goal and days left. Then come the latest events and sermons, ways to help, the news feed and Sangat Gathers – a wall of faces that fills in from its centre as you scroll.
• Home 02: a candle-lit video hero and today’s bar (what is on now, what is next, the langar hall’s hours). Then comes From Amrit Vela To Sukhasan – the day’s programme as cards that stack while you scroll – today’s Hukamnama. Finally, the page ends with a langar sponsorship quote, the katha list, ways to help, news and the gurdwara’s locations, each saying whether it is open now.

Gurdwara Pages

• Daily Programme: the day from Amrit Vela to Sukhasan with what is on now, weekly diwans and classes, and today’s Hukam.
• Path Booking: Akhand Path, Sehaj Path or Sukhmani Sahib with the start, the Bhog time, the darbar hall’s booked days and the next free start, langar for the guests, home readings and the total.
• Langar Seva: a sponsorship calculator (three menus, karah prashad by the degh) and a seven-day rota with places left per shift.
• Donation: one-time or monthly gifts, a campaign preview of what your gift adds, and the dasvandh calculator.
• Events: sorted into Upcoming, This Month and Past, with countdowns, a Google Calendar link and an .ics file.
• Sermons: katha and kirtan as a list or grid, with filters and an audio player.
