A temple that publishes retreats, teachings and donation causes can run all of them from this Tailwind CSS buddhist temple template. Bodhira uses Tailwind CSS 4 and is made for temples, monasteries and meditation centres. It uses a maroon, gold and serif look, and it ships with 34 pages and 3 home page designs.
This Tailwind CSS buddhist temple template works out the moon phase and Uposatha days for every year, so nobody types the dates by hand. The Lunar Calendar page lists the full moons of every month, the festivals and the date of Vesak. Coming Soon counts down to Vesak, so a new site can also launch around that day.
Of all the pages, the Lunar Calendar, Meditation and Retreat Booking matter most to a temple. Visitors check dates first, then plan a sitting or a stay.
Home 01, Temple Of Buddha, opens with a monk slider over drifting incense smoke. Below it sit an event countdown, the latest teaching in an audio player and the next Uposatha. A scroll-drawn world map follows the teaching’s route from Bodh Gaya.
Home 02, Buddhist Temple For World Peace, uses an ivory hero, the Three Jewels and the Noble Eightfold Path as stacking cards. It also shows causes with days left and a live broadcast. Home 03, Open Hearts, adds a meditation timer inside a lotus that opens as you scroll.
Giving lists causes with the amount raised, the goal and days left. The donation form takes one-time or monthly gifts and can add an optional card fee. Volunteers, Community and Donation Archive pages round out the support side.
The Temple Shop has filters, sort and search, a product page, a bag with a coupon, a free-shipping meter and tax, then checkout with an order number. A wishlist is included too.
The inner pages cover About, Services, Philosophy, Buddhism, FAQ with search, Blog, Contact with a working form and map, Login, Register and 404.
Mobile-first breakpoint prefixes written into the HTML let the Retreat Booking steps and the Temple Shop grid adapt to phones and wide screens. The compiled CSS keeps just the classes these pages call for, so leftover styles stay out. Colours, fonts and spacing live in a single Tailwind theme, so one edit there reaches every page, from the Calendar to Checkout.
You can open the finished pages straight away, and the download also holds the Tailwind source if you would like to edit and rebuild the styles. Documentation is included, along with Font Awesome Free and a Buddhist icon font, loaded locally, and Cormorant Garamond and Albert Sans. Neutral placeholders replace the preview images, so you add your own temple photos.
Bodhira has 34 pages in total, and Coming Soon is the one that counts down to Vesak.
