About This Item

Trickly turns a cooking blog into a full recipe site, and this Tailwind CSS food recipe blog template uses Tailwind CSS 4 for all of its styling. It ships with 15 pages in two home variations, so a food writer can publish recipes, articles and products from one design.

Trickly suits food bloggers, recipe creators, culinary studios, restaurant brands and food product sellers. Agencies building food sites for clients can use it too, and this Tailwind CSS food recipe blog template gives them a ready recipe structure.

Recipe Pages for Food Bloggers

Five pages handle recipes, and these matter most for this niche because readers come to cook. Each one has a clear job:

  • Recipe Grid lists recipes as cards with title, category, cook time and difficulty.
  • Recipe Details holds ingredients, step-by-step instructions, serving size, a nutrition callout, author credit and related recipes.
  • Recipe Categories sorts recipes by cuisine, meal type or diet.
  • Recipe Authors shows contributor profiles, so a multi-author blog can credit each cook.
  • Recipe Submit lets visitors send in their own recipes with a title, ingredients, steps, category and image.

Start with Recipe Details and Recipe Grid, because visitors spend most of their time there. The submit form then adds community content on top.

A Tailwind CSS Food Recipe Blog Template With a Shop

The shop has four pages: Shop, Product Details, Cart and Checkout. A blogger can sell cookbooks, kitchen tools, meal kits or branded merchandise next to the recipes. In addition, two blog pages, a listing grid and a single post view, carry longer food writing with an author block, related posts and comments.

Two home layouts give two ways to open the site. Contact Us and Team round out the set, which is useful for a studio or restaurant that needs staff bios.

Dark Mode and 8 Colour Themes for Recipe Sites

A sun and moon icon switches the whole site to dark mode, and the setting is saved for returning visitors. Cooks who follow a recipe in a dim kitchen will notice it most. Eight colour themes can also change live without a reload: Red, Crimson, Green, Purple, Orange, Teal, Blue and Dark. For example, Green fits a vegan blog, Teal fits seafood, and Orange fits barbecue.

Fonts are Varela Round and Noto Serif from Google Fonts, plus the decorative TrashHand font for callouts. Flaticon and Font Awesome 5 Pro supply the icons. The pages also carry skip links, screen reader landmarks and visible keyboard focus outlines.

Tailwind CSS 4 Inside Recipe, Blog and Shop Pages

Responsive breakpoint prefixes sit right in the markup, starting from the phone layout, so Recipe Grid and Shop reflow on small screens without extra rules. Your palette, typefaces and spacing live in a single Tailwind theme definition, so editing it updates every page, from Recipe Details to Checkout. Hover and focus variants are written on each element beside its default classes, which makes card and button behaviour easy to trace.

You can open the ready-made pages in a browser straight away. If you want to change the design, the download also holds the Tailwind source files so you can edit them and compile the styles again. Neutral placeholders replace the preview images, so you add your own food photography.

The template is at version 1.2 and has 15 pages in total.
