Shalomi is one of our synagogue website templates: an animated HTML5 template for synagogues, temples and Jewish community centres. Torah-mantle velvet, gold thread and Jerusalem stone give it the warmth of a sanctuary on a Friday evening. Underneath, it works like a real congregation’s site. This Shabbat’s candle lighting and Havdalah are worked out from the sun for the visitor’s city. It also shows today’s Hebrew date, the festivals of the year and what is live in the sanctuary now. Finally, there are membership dues, donations in multiples of chai and a Judaica shop with a real cart.

Three Homepages (Plus Three RTL Versions)

• Home 01 – A Home For Every Generation: a hero slider with a WebGL star of gold light and the synagogue intro. In the Sundown band, the sun sets behind the Jerusalem skyline as this Shabbat’s times come in for twelve cities. Next come causes with goal bars and the live broadcast with this week’s schedule. Finally, the page ends with the community with filters, volunteers, members’ words and the news.
• Home 02 – Open Hearts, Open Souls: a velvet hero, the synagogue intro, how we can help, the hotline and newsletter band. Then come this year’s appeal ring, the Life At Shalomi stack (from the naming of a child to the Yahrzeit candle) and volunteers. Finally, the page ends with the congregation’s words, Ask The Rabbi and the news.
• Home 03 – A Year Of Holy Days: a hero with the WebGL star, the next service live and the latest derasha. Then come how we can help and sister congregations on a world map with their own candle-lighting times. Next come the community rail, FAQ and the Shabbat film. Finally, The Year Scroll — a Torah scroll of the year’s festivals — unrolls as you scroll.

Synagogue Pages

• Shabbat Times: every halachic time of the day (dawn, sunrise, the latest Shema, midday, Mincha, Plag, sunset, nightfall) for any city and date. It also has the day as a bar and eight weeks of candle lighting and Havdalah.
• Hebrew Calendar: today’s Hebrew date and a Hebrew date converter (with “after sunset”). It also has the festivals with countdowns, Yahrzeit dates and the Bar / Bat Mitzvah date with its Shabbat.
• Live Services: the week’s services with Live Now and Next In status, recordings in a video lightbox and a Mi Shebeirach request form.
• Membership & Giving: membership tiers with a dues calculator (seats, Hebrew School, funds, payment plans). It also has a donation form with funds, chai amounts, monthly giving, a dedication and a live goal bar. Finally, it lists all causes.
• Events & Derashas: Upcoming / This Month / Past events, an event with a countdown, agenda and an RSVP against the seats left. Derashas by topic, speaker and search.
• Judaica Shop: shop with categories, price, search and sort. It also has a product page with options, a cart with coupons, free shipping and sales tax, checkout with an order number, and a wishlist.

Shalomi includes About, Services, Service Details, Community, Community Details, Volunteers, Volunteer Details and Blog. It also has Blog Details, FAQ with search and Contact (working PHP form and map). Finally, there are Login, Register, Forgot Password, Coming Soon (counting down to the next festival) and 404 – thirty-seven pages in total.
